Overview
Your new company: Hays Education has various teaching opportunities with our Schools across the Calderdale, Brighouse area. These opportunities are on a permanent, long-term or daily supply cover basis. Due to an increase in demand from schools in your local area we are looking for experienced primary teachers to take up the multiple positions we have available. These ad-hoc, supply placements can often lead to permanent positions. Your new role: You will be responsible for teaching across KS1 classes over a range of ability levels and age groups. Some schools may require you to bring planned work. You may also be responsible to provide pupils with extra support away from the classroom to prepare for their exams ensuring all pupils have the opportunity to achieve to the highest of their potential. If you are undertaking a longer-term role, you will be responsible to deliver excellent lessons, marking and assessing pupils work. However, should a long-term opportunity arise within the school you are placed, you will be required to attend after school functions as well as parents evening. What you'll need to succeed: In order to succeed as a Primary Teacher, you will need a teaching qualification; this role is open to both qualified and newly qualified teachers. You will also need to have recent experience within a classroom setting. You will need to be a positive, vibrant and a creative teacher who is able to adapt to new surroundings and situations whilst demonstrating professionalism at all times. You will also need to be available to start immediately.
