Overview

Who we are looking for The Risk Assurance UK Line of Service had revenues of £380m in FY19 and a headcount of c.2,500. It is the newest line of service in the UK firm with 130 partners and 10 business units. Services offered in include Internal Audit, Business Risks and Controls, Technology Risk, Cyber Security, Data and Analytics, CMAS and Risk Modelling Services. This Senior Associate role is positioned at the heart of the Business Decision Support (“BDS”) finance team that supports the Risk Assurance business. Reporting to, and working closely with the Assurance Director of Finance and the rest of the National Risk Assurance finance team, the individual will focus on supporting Risk Assurance financial and commercial activities, and provide timely, meaningful management information to support decision making including weekly and monthly financial reporting. About the role Key responsibilities Performing timely, detailed analysis and reporting to produce accurate, robust financial information which supports and is informative to the business Understand and interpret business results/deliverables taking responsibility for further actions required Working closely with the One Finance community in Risk Assurance and the wider firm and act as a key contact within your peer group Proactively support the team in standalone projects and initiatives as they arise. Liaising with the Risk Assurance Finance teams to collate and analyse information as required Providing financial support to our Risk Assurance National Business Unit Requirements The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following skills and qualities Client relationships Builds and develops strong relationships internally and externally Has the ability to influence at all levels and to challenge when necessary Strategic & commercial awareness Has strong commercial and business awareness with a good understanding of the drivers of the Risk Assurance business model.
