About the team Our Business Restructuring Services (BRS) practice is the largest restructuring practice in the UK operating from 23 offices. We offer restructuring situational skills with functional expertise (business planning, cost reduction, cash and change management) and industry experience to our clients. Helping them develop sustainable solutions. About the role Financial institutions are under significant pressure to make wholesale changes to their businesses and operating models as a result of the macro-economic and geopolitical landscape, increasing competition and ongoing revenue pressures. We are expanding our FS team to support the increasing demand from our clients across Banking and Capital Markets, Insurance and Asset Management to transform their operations. As well as working with a wide range of clients, you will also work with leading practitioners across the Deals, Strategy & and Consulting practice within the Firm. Your will be working with clients on operational restructuring, cost reduction and working capital improvement areas focused on identify and implementing sustainable performance improvement. Your work will include Understanding key business processes and working capital requirements Development and delivery of operational improvement projects including cost reduction and working capital improvements Interfacing directly with client management Providing robust management and monitoring of change programmes Taking on a “hands-on” role to manage stakeholders and lead change Performing Cashflow sensitivity analysis, financial baselining and forecast reviews Assisting in the preparation of presentations and/or reports for key stakeholders Taking responsibility for leading junior members of the team when required The role will be based in London, but requires flexibility to travel throughout the UK, with the potential to travel overseas, depending on client requirements Requirements Experience of operational improvement programmes in the Financial Services sector Working capital, supply chain, procurement or cost reduction project experience Demonstrable financial analysis experience Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable communicating with all levels Proven project and time management skills Excellent verbal and written English Report writing skills including use of Microsoft PowerPoint You’ll be joining a team who welcome your outlook and knowledge, whilst developing your skill set further within one of the world’s leading professional organisations.
