Overview
Maintenance Engineer Ilkeston £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience) Double Days Experienced Maintenance Engineer required to support the day to day operations of a heavy production plant in Ilkeston; carrying out planned maintenance tasks and responding to plant breakdowns. DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO; PPM and breakdown maintenance on automatic machinery and plant; conveyors, shredders, screening equipment, separating equipment, dryers and large hydraulic presses. Pumps, bearings, couplings Fabrication and welding Mobile diesel plant Inspection and testing Strip-down & rebuild (roller track, gearboxes, machinery) KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, TASKS AND OBJECTIVES: Qualified to BTEC, C&G or higher (lower qualifications may be accepted if demonstrated through experience). Knowledge of Safety Integrity levels. Good understanding of Pneumatic/Hydraulics Working knowledge of heavy plant including conveyors & hydraulic presses SHIFTS: rotating double days, Mornings 06:00 – 15:00 and Afternoons 13:00 – 22:00 40 hour standard week with lots of overtime available.
