OUTLINE Experienced or Aspiring Maintenance Manager required for a large and reputable Telford based manufacturer, who shut down across Christmas and New Year. This is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious Maintenance Manager or Team Leader to take on an autonomous role, offering competitive salary of £45,000, holiday provision and pension. You will be joining and managing a diverse team of electrical and mechanical engineers from various sectors and will become a valued member of an established engineering team THE JOB ROLE A very hands on role, both Managing and assisting in the Engineering function to provide an efficient service to manufacturing and it’s performance Ensure robust and effective planned maintenance and problem solving systems are in place and facilitated Identifying and implementing best practice engineering methods and techniques with the aim of continuous improvement in all areas Managing/motivating a team of multi skilled engineers with a variety of backgrounds and experience Developing and strengthening procedures and related documentation. Play a leading part in Health, Safety & Environmental legislation adherence Deliver against KPIs of safety, service (speed and reliability), quality and cost effectiveness EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS Strong team management skills with a hands on approach, whether in a Management or Team Leader/Supervisory capacity Experience in an FMCG environment Strong time management and work prioritisation skills Good presentation and communication skills Natural ability to lead by example Strong budgetary and financial control Time served Mechanical/Electrical Engineer THE PACKAGE A salary of £45,000 per annum 25 days holiday provision Contributory pension scheme Occupational sick pay (after short qualifying period) Christmas Shutdown Free parking and onsite facilities.
