Overview
Job Description Care Assistant - Day Shift (Various posts and hours) These are part-time posts and the salary will be pro rata to the number of hours worked. We are currently looking to recruit Care Assistants to work in Crosslet House, West Dunbartonshire Council's largest Residential Care Home. The successful applicants will provide personal care and support to residents as directed by senior staff. You will maintain a homely, person centered environment for individuals and groups of residents consistent with their needs through the provision of a range of duties including personal care, meaningful activities and good housekeeping. If you have an SVQ2 qualification in Health and Social Care, and have experience of supporting older people in a high quality care environment following the new Health and Social Care Standards,supporting independence and daily life tasks with a focus on supporting good outcomes for our residents, we would welcome your application. Requirements This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
