Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a specialist care provider, who is seeking a Dual Registered Manager for 2 small, highly successful residential services in Manchester. The service provides residential care for young people. This is a fantastic organisation to work for whose person centered care is at the forefront of everything they do. The Registered Managers position requires you to lead and manage a group of staff to ensure they provide the best possible level of care for the young people in the service. You will be responsible for the implementation of all organisational policies at the service and to work with both internal and external partners to provide excellence in service. Salary: Up to £40,000 Person Specification: To hold Children, Young People & Families Manager Level 5 Leadership and Management in Residential Care (or equivalent) or willing to work towards the qualification. It is desirable to have a Driving Licence High knowledge on OFSTED legislations. To have a sound working knowledge of childcare legislation and Safeguarding To understand the issues associated to looked after children To have the ability to work therapeutically and manage challenging behaviour To have two years recent experience working with children in the last five years To have at least one year’s supervisory experience If you are interested in this vacancy please send your CV to and I will give you a call.
