Hard Landscape Team Leaders Perm Role Location is Wickford Essex Salary £25K area dep on experience and role Report into the operations manager Reason for the role due to growth of the business We are currently seeking a hard lanscape Team Leaders who is dynamic, self-motivated and flexible individual to support the Supervisors by organising the day to day tasks of our highly skilled and valued work force based at the Wickford, Essex. Team Leader objectives and responsibilities: To complete assigned works within agreed timescale, to an agreed specification and to high standards To ensure all staff are fully trained and familiar with the equipment they will be using. To ensure all staff are in possession and wear the correct uniform & PPE at all times. To ensure vehicles and machinery are in good working order and are being properly used and maintained Attend and participate in Tool Box Talks to ensure that all operatives fully understood and implemented the training provided. To ensure the yard, depot and vehicles are kept tidy and clean. To complete assigned works within agreed timescale & to an agreed specification Person Specification: To have skills and knowledge of the green services sector including but not limited to landscaping, grounds maintenance and fencing. The ability to be able to work independently but also as part of a wider team. The ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload to meet required deadlines The ability be able to use own initiative. Be able to respond to and resolve simple problems in a polite and professional manner Practical experience of coordinating a busy team. A full driving licence. The ability to use machinery in a safe and productive manner
