Overview
My client is a multibillion-dollar end-to-end IT services and solutions company, currently they are looking an Azure Product Owner to join the established team to help advance their managed hybrid cloud offerings. This role is remotely based with ad-hoc travel and the hiring manager is happy to hire via video interview process, the projects are live and ongoing so we can make an offer as soon as the right person is found. As an Azure Product Owner you’ll translate the market requirements from Product Management into Epics and Stories that are assigned to the build engineers. You will "groom" this feature backlog so that there is no ambiguity concerning the requirements or acceptance criteria of the stories in the backlog. You will work with the Senior Product Owner to prioritize backlog elements and set offering release scope and timing. In this role, you will get unique opportunities to interact with Microsoft and other solution partners to improve their components of my clients overall managed Azure solution. You’ll make their technical capabilities come to life. This is genuinely a fantastic role with excellent benefits and career opportunities so please apply if you’d like to know more, hope to speak with you soon Skills Required: You’ll need to be a Product Owner who has facilitated a software development project in a Public Cloud using industry-recognised Agile approaches. Proven experience in the design, implementation and operation of hybrid clouds or cloud applications, ideally with Azure experience but happy to consider AWS or Google Cloud. Experience of creating, grooming (assigning requirements, completion criteria and acceptable quality measures) and prioritizing Agile Initiatives, Epics and Stories in the JIRA backlog. Experience working with Product Management, Delivery and Engineering leads to prioritise Agile Initiatives, Epics and Stories. A Certified Scrum Product Owner or Certified Scrum master certification is highly desirable.
