Staff Nurse £18ph PAID BREAKS Worcester Are you ready for the next step in your health and social care career? I am currently working with an elderly nursing home that provides excellent career opportunities and progression, and we need someone like you to join the team Operating as part of a smaller, privately owned company, this first-rate nursing home provides exceptional, round-the-clock care for the elderly, situated within the stunning town of Worcester. The home prides itself on its unique approach to personalised care and has been thoroughly equipped throughout with the most up to date equipment. This is an unmissable opportunity to join the ranks at a truly successful nursing home. As Staff Nurse, you will work as part of a team to deliver excellent, person-centred care to the elderly residents of the home. You will also be responsible for administering medication, personal care, maintaining patient records and developing therapeutic relationships with the residents. Duties for Staff Nurse Include: • Providing a high standard of care to residents • Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement • Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice • Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress • Accepting personal and shared responsibility for the maintenance of quality nursing care Skills/ Qualifications required of the Staff Nurse: • Hold a current Nurse pin • Experienced in elderly/dementia care • Ability to prioritise workload and be able to work under pressure • Ability to communicate and manage interpersonal relationships, including influencing skills • Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation • Ability to plan, implement, evaluate and clearly document care delivery • Team player, decisive, self-motivated, proactive, flexible and adaptable • Reasonable access outside working hours in emergency situations In return, my client will offer an hourly wage £18 per hour Plus Paid Breaks For more information regarding this opportunity or to apply please contact Claire at Amber Mace on 01904 571187 or email an up to date CV to Claireambermace.com. - Hold a current Nurse pin
