Overview

Hampton's are currently working with a well known Charity who provide support to the Elderly within Residential, Nursing and Extra Care settings in the South West. We are leading the recruitment drive for a Deputy Director of Operations covering the South West Region for 10 of their Residential and Nursing services. The appointed Deputy Director of Operations will be expected to provide senior operations leadership for the Region, including responsibility for care and support, clinical, operational, financial and administrative functions conducted within the homes located within the Region. Purpose of role: To provide pro-active support and supervision for 3 Senior Managers within the Region and to ensure homes within the Region operate in accordance with Company standards and plans, applicable regulations, contractual obligations and best practices. You will be responsible for assisting executive management in matters of organisational strategic and financial planning, standards and policies and procedures and drive, promote and support business development within the Region. Key Job Responsibilities: Supervise Area Managers to ensure: Effective and efficient management of their services. Development and delivery of services in accordance with annual financial plans. Adherence to financial budgets approved from time to time by the Board of Directors. Participate in the development of annual operational and financial plans for services within the Region and for the Charity. Monitor compliance with national standards and ensure that appropriate Regulators Action Plans are developed and implemented, as needed. Manage recruitment and selection process for employees in your region within agreed delegation limits. To ensure that the homes are operating as viable business units, including a focus on maximising occupancy levels and appropriate fees. To work with Managers to ensure effective referrals management, including marketing activities and campaigns as required. Candidates suitable for this post will be able to demonstrate: A minimum of 2 years' experience in the operational management of residential and nursing services.
