Please read on In your new role working for a fast-growth online company you'll be exploiting SQL Server to its fullest - most people I've recruited here tell me they thought they knew about SQL Server until they joined this team Your team will be concerned with rounded T-SQL development leaning towards the DBA side (performance monitoring and query tuning) and in-depth SQL processing. Your focus is on SQL code optimisation and the core SQL Server engine, as opposed to SSIS and SSRS development (though you will have chance to work on these). Your challenge is to develop real time SQL Server solutions in an industry where the customer base is ever-increasing and where innovation is constant; people who've been there a decade are still learning Your SQL Server Developer colleagues are the kind of people who can come up with creative solutions; can a better way be found by thinking outside the box?
