UI Designer / £40,000 - £60,000 / Camberley, Surrey Help a software company design the future This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a world leading product set and bring life and vitality to the Front End creating true "wow factor" for a global customer base You will be helping a high profile British software company position a critically acclaimed technology in the security sector and future proof it so that it looks like the future. There is a high accent on creativity and vision so you should be brimming with ideas and passion for the user experience. As the sole UI Designer you will have the flexibility to explore your creative side and really experiment and take ownership of this product. From green field cutting edge applications to existing tools that need to keep up to date with market trends and user needs. You will need to be a capable communicator asking the right questions and listening hard to the answers, from the data, users and the business to create slick workflows that encourages users to pick-up. There will be back and forth with the development team and a range of stakeholders and you will need to be confident in backing your opinions and expertise. The UI buck will definitely stop with you Skills: Previous experience as an UX/UI designer (interaction/visual) who can work independently and part of a team Experience creating detailed deliverables: Wireframing/Personas/User Journeys/Sketches/Prototypes/User Flows Experience with UI tools, Balsamiq or similar Experience of working in a software product environment Knowledge working in an Agile environment Passionate about User Research with an analytical mindset This role comes with lots of autonomy and you will be redefining the company’s approach to UI.
