Overview
The Company: Our client is an established footwear brand looking for a Ladies Footwear Designer to join their busy team. You will assist with the design and development of new product ranges in response to the business needs including the creation of new product ranges in line with market trends and fashion direction. The Role: Ensure the timely development of product ranges in line with market trends and customer needs. Undertake comparative shopping / trend analysis research to be aware of key trends and present these to customers using mood boards. Ensure that all product ranges are creatively and effectively presented and updated regularly in the show rooms. Assist in the professional delivery of product presentations. Assist in the sourcing of cost effective materials. Skills Required: Must have 1-2 years of Ladies footwear design experience. Excellent understanding of footwear construction. Excellent skills in hand drawing and fully computer literate including Photoshop and Illustrator (CAD). Self motivated and organised with good communication skills. Experience of liaising with factories and suppliers.
