Overview
Our client, an award-winning business who provide staff on both permanent, contract and temporary assignments throughout the UK and Northern Europe have partnered with Robert Walters in their search for a Commercial and Legal Officer to join their established team to offer corporate legal advice and support on employment law and IR35 Your work will be varied and interesting with a strong focus on Employment and Commercial contract matters but will also include work in respect of IR35 determinations. You will sit within a team of around 5 Lawyers with the team being headed up by an experienced Commercial and Legal Director Key duties and responsibilities will include: Provide professional advice and guidance, commercial and legal support Analyse and report on risk, based on key performance indicators, key risk indicators and bench marked industry standards and targets. Support the collaboration with other risk areas on effective identification and reporting of organisational risk Negotiate contract terms and conditions with external clients Advise in respect of disputes, breaches of contract, terminations Consider employment law across all jurisdictions Mitigate risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behaviour Ideally you will hold employment law knowledge and experience and an understanding of IR35 in an in house position This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89628787
