Software Engineer
Overview
Our client is looking for Software Engineers experienced in C++ to join them on a contract basis. The engineers will be embedded in the client's team, working alongside talented engineers in the development software for Test Equipment in the full software lifecycle. Work will be undertaken to the most rigorous of quality standards. This contract has the potential to run over a year with the right candidate - the role is inside IR35. Key Tasks The successful candidates will work with the client team to support software development on Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) across the full software lifecycle. Key tasks include: Software support for suites of Test Equipment C/C++ coding Software / Hardware integration Appropriate documentation and following tightly regulated processes Mandatory skills: C/C++ in a Test Equipment environment Supporting Test Equipment Hardware / Software Integration experience Team working Desirable Skills: Familiarity with DO 254 Standard Worked in a similar environment and familiar with the documentation required, tests required, lab environment etc Able to plan own tasks, and complete with minimal supervision Additional Information Contract role Duration: 12 months Location: Cheltenham This role is inside IR35 Electus Recruitment Solutions provides specialist engineering and technical recruitment solutions to a number of high technology industries.
