Overview
My client is a leading international Financial Services company who arecurrently deep in technology transformation program. We are looking for highly experienced Tech Leads who are passionate about software & technology. You’ll have experience of working on large-scale, custom-designed, multi-tier, enterprise-level software development projects using a range of both back-end and front-end technologies. Don’t hesitate to apply if you are a strong all-rounder and a critical thinker ready to challenge and be challenged ACCOUNTABILITIES Design innovative, evolutionary architectures Championing and facilitating the breaking-down of deliverables into thin vertical slices, in order to enable the early and iterative delivery of value. Ensure technical expectations, and non-functional requirements of deliverables are met Identify technical debt and technical risk, and pro-actively raise them through the correct channels for consideration at prioritisation Build, support and mentor effective delivery teams Get hands-on by writing code alongside your development team Champion software quality and engender technical vision Ensure there is a balance between technical innovation and what’s right for my client by considering appropriate technology choices and understanding the business vision Champion Cross Functional Requirements Champion agile best practices and Continuous Delivery Build strong relationships with stakeholders. Facilitate problem solving and work with a team to realise solutions. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE You are an experienced leader in the technology space, having previously lead the technical aspects of delivery for a cross-functional product delivery team. You have strong knowledge in the FX domain, and a depth of understanding across a broad range of functions in addition to Engineering. These include Architecture, Agile practices, and an appreciation of Product. You are used to operating in a fast-paced environment, and am measured and assured in making difficult technology choices, and display a bias for action. You have a strong understanding of quality and security issues, can guide a team in these areas, and insist that they are baked into any delivery that we do. I champion non-functional requirements, and am a skilled communicator who can You’re experienced in driving the adoption of modern development practices, such as CI/CD, infrastructure as code, test automation, and measurability. I have strong experience of domain modelling, and design patterns, and can operate effectively as a technical authority for a team.
