Job Summary Job Title: Support Worker Location: Kings Ripton 24D – Huntingdon, PE28 2NT. Hours: up to 42 hours per week Salary: £8.80 per hour Information: This role is shift work, 14.5 hour shifts, alternating weekends. Driver, full UK driving licence, is desired. Supporting someone isn’t just personal care; it’s so much more. 24D Kings Ripton is a supported living service for adults aged 18 with learning disabilities and mental health needs. There is a sleep in member of staff and 1:1 support during the day as required. The service is set up as a move on service with staff specialising in supporting people to increase their independent living skills in order to live on their own in the community. The service is based upon the individual needs to ensure they receive support in the correct areas to promote them moving on into their own home. What experience do you need? You don’t need to have experience to be a good Support Worker. If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you. You’ll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions. A basic level of English and Math is also required.
