Overview
MOD Trenchard Lines, Clerical Admin - £10.35 per hour We have a new exciting role with the MOD at Trenchard Lines. The Temporary Worker will provide administrative support. He or she will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgement in carrying out instructions, under general supervision. Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to: Collating and analysing fairly complex information or data, submitting results in a written report Overseeing administrative procedures and processes Assisting with budget preparation and control, if required Acting as an administrative liaison with internal and / or external sources Preparing routine correspondence. Typical qualifications and experience: Five GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language or equivalent) NVQ Business Administration Level 2 (or suitable clerical experience) Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office Good communication skills, both oral and written. The post holder will be responsible for providing a wide range of proactive support services to all parts of the Headquarters. Specifically, this post supports the CEAS Advisory Team: Job Purpose: " To act as an initial point of contact for anyone with a query or concern about the education or educational well being of service children. Contact may be via the phone, email or face to face. " Provide administrative support for a diverse range of processes. This will include a substantial amount of recording on our database, use of email, use of spreadsheets and general IT functions. " To demonstrate a can-do attitude and contribute positively to the team as a whole. We take training and continued professional development serious and would expect full commitment to the development of the team. " Use of MS Office, good written and verbal communication skills. This is a temporary assignment initially until 3rd October 2020. They are paying £10.35 per hour.
