Overview

Our client is a fast growing, nationwide wealth management firm who pride themselves on the rewarding experience they offer to their clients in order to support them in achieving their financial goals. They are now looking to acquire the services of an experienced Paraplanner to join their team in Rugby for a period of 12 months. The successful candidate will provide vital technical support to their Financial Planners and a positive experience to their clients. The ideal candidate will be a highly qualified individual with significant experience working within a financial services organisation. Main Responsibilities Undertake research and analysis of suitable products in line with the Financial Planner's recommendations. Draft recommendations that articulate the Financial Planner's requirements, in line with the client's needs, circumstances and objectives. Act as 'first line of defence' - flag any opportunities or concerns prior to the recommendation being issued. Ensure files and reports are compliant Follow the standard process for all PPU related activities, including research, analysis and documentation. Attend internal CPD-related events and Best Practice sessions as directed by your line manager, the PPU Managers or the Head of Paraplanning Development. Adhere to all of the company's processes and compliance requirements. All other administrative tasks as requested Key Skills & Experience: Level 4 Diploma in Financial Services is essential Must have experience working within a Financial Services organisation as a Paraplanner A good working knowledge of industry issues and developments is required Be articulate in both written and verbal communication. Proficient in all Microsoft packages including Word, Outlook and Excel.
