Overview
Management Accountant for a leading University based in central Manchester. Your new company Our client is a leading higher education institute with offices in central Manchester. Your new role We are looking to appoint a Management Accountant for one of Manchester's leading university's. You will be assisting the Head of Faculty Research Finance in managing the planning, budgeting & forecasting and reporting processes of the department. You will support the project managers across the University in all financial aspects of research activities including analysis of management accounts, budget and forecasting and the long term plans. You will build relationships internally with stakeholders across the organisation and externally with organisations to ensure timely and accurate financial information is supplied. The role will support the Head of Finance with monitoring the financial performance of the department and will have responsibility of a team of 3. What you'll need to succeed This is a business critical role. You will be suitably qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or qualified by experience and have strong experience of working as a business partner. Ideally you will have worked in higher education previously. You must have proven experience of managing a team.
