One of the worlds most recognised brand names, have an exciting opportunity, to join a newly formed team which aims to position data at the heart of all their marketing efforts. To be data driven in their decisions, develop and enhance a 360° view of their current and future customers, improve their targeting capabilities, and advance their capability to report and identify insights from their Marketing campaigns. The Marketing Analytics / Data Manager, will be for leading a Data, Measurement & Analytics team made up of specialists to lead and develop their CRM Database, AdTech / MarTech, Data Management Platform (DMP) and enhance their ability to report and generate insights from their activity. The Marketing Analytics / Data Manager will be responsible for driving the development and shape of this new team from an early stage – leaving your mark as the team evolves and expands. Key r esponsibilities, include: All Digital, Media and CRM reporting /forecasting requirements; working with Divisional marketing teams early on in the planning phases to agree learning agendas and tests to run, defining the relevant metrics and variables to be tested in order to generate statistically significant learnings. Democratising marketing reporting and analytics; setting up automated reports, templates and self-serve data tools to enable channel leads across Digital, Media and CRM teams to appropriately measure and track activity. Holding agencies (Publicis & Wunderman) accountable for their learning agendas; making sure that they are tracked appropriately with clear, timely reporting against defined targets, and working with them to develop full Post Campaign Analysis where relevant to develop insightful and actionable insights with clear learnings and recommendations to be applied to optimise future activity. Working alongside Data and Media agencies to identify the role of each media channel plays, comparing and contrasting differing attribution models to ensure the company spends marketing budgets effectively and efficiently, as well as providing targeting recommendations to power their activity and campaigns. Developing and delivering the First Party Data Strategy for the company aligned to the commercial priorities of the business; to improve their view of consumers’ interactions with the company across all platforms, leverage data to identify distinct audiences for campaign targeting, and improve our ability to draw our meaningful insights / trends. The Marketing Analytics / Data Manager requires someone with demonstrable experience in Analytics and Insights, as well as AdTech / MarTech and tagging. The Marketing Analytics / Data Manager should be happy to work alongside both technical Analysts within the agencies, and also able to translate key insights and recommendations in a clear way to internal marketing partners. Essential Hard Skills: · Extensive Analytics Experience, working with both Adobe and Google solutions. · Experience of using SQL and ETL platforms to make sense of large data sets · Experience in working with Customer Database and Data Platforms, preferably within the Adobe marketing ecosystem · Experience in using Data Visualisation Tools (i.e. Tableau) · Experience in Tag Management and Implementation (GTM, DTM) · An ability to work as part of a team, working on multiple projects for multiple partners at the same time Whilst the Marketing Analytics / Data Manager will be working in an environment, using the above technologies, they won't be responsible for the day to day usage of these technologies, and will be managing a team and agencies who possess the technical skills, so in-depth technical knowledge isn't a pre-requisite.
