Overview
Our manufacturing client based in Stevenage currently has a vacancy for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work on a permanent day shift Monday to Friday (0815-1700 Mon-Thu and 0815-1530 Fri). Working in a team of 3 the main function of the role is to provide Engineering support to all factory areas to ensure that all breakdown, PPM and improvement work is carried out to required standards. Job duties include: Diagnose all faults and carry out remedial action to required standards. Propose improvements to all equipment in order to improve reliability and efficiency Dismantle and re-assemble all production equipment in a timely manner Complete the job report sheets for all work undertaken. Complete breakdown reports on all work undertaken. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as necessary. Experience and Qualifications Required: You must hold electrical qualifications such as City and Guilds 236 or NVQ Level 3 Mechanical or electrical bias considered however must have skills within both areas. Good mechanical knowledge Experience of working with plant equipment such as mechanical assemblies, conveyors or automated machines is required PLC fault finding experience is required For more information on this excellent opportunity please apply directly to this advert.
