Overview
My client who have been established for over 10 years based in North Dorset are currently expanding and as a result are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their team. This role will involve working closely with the Network Architect and will involve responsibility for the design, support and performance of the network. The successful candidate will have extensive experience within the telecoms industry as well as network technologies. Exposure is also required of the following: · Knowledge of multicast routing (ideally IGMP or PIM) · Linux server knowledge · Firewalls · Scalable network enterprise architectures · Routing protocols (MPLS, OSPF, BGP) · Switched networks VLANS, LAG and MLAG · Networking protocols (Ethernet, IP) · Internet network design (PoP, Backbone and Backhaul) If you are looking for a new opportunity with an exciting company please apply or contact Tamsin on 01752 717141 for more information.
