Overview
I am currently assisting with a well-established firm based in Middlesbrough who is seeking a Tax & Accounts Assistant to join their team. Ideally the successful candidate will have completed their ATT, AAT or CTA qualification however, study support is available for the right candidate. Some of your duties will include: Preparation of tax returns Preparation of P11Ds and CT61s Preparation and submission of Statutory Accounts Preparation of sole trader and partnership accounts Completion of client Self-Assessment returns. Bookkeeping for clients Registering clients for VAT/Corporation tax/PAYE VAT returns Offering basic advice for clients Client meetings and first point of contact for the firm for clients Practice experience for this position is essential
