Overview
Churchill Howard is currently working with a large and highly reputable business based South East of Birmingham to recruit a Group Financial Accountant. This is an exciting and rewarding position that gives significant responsibility and stakeholder engagement opportunities in a technically focused role. The successful applicant will join a great team environment for developing skills and enhancing long term career ambitions. This could be the perfect first move into commerce and industry for an accountant currently working in practice, or a progressive move for a credible Financial Accountant currently working within industry. Key responsibilities include: Providing advice and support to directors and cost centre holders on complex accounting issues Responsibility for year-end processes, dealing with external auditors and the production of year end statutory accounts Monitoring and reporting working capital performance and controlling the integrity of balance sheet reconciliations Ideal applicants to this role will be technically strong qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with a drive to make a difference.
