Overview
My Wolverhampton based Manufacturer and Distribution company are looking for a Demand Planner to join their team on a full time and permanent basis. Responsibilities :- Work closely with Commercial, Purchasing & Finance teams to ensure forecasting is robust. Liaise with Far East suppliers to understand supply chain proficiencies. Have a good understanding of processes in relation to freight from Far East countries. Analysing customer trends, forecasting & identify risks & opportunities within the business. Be confident to identify & escalate issues and have the ability to challenge and propose change within the business. Update & distribute KPI reports for Supply Chain. Identify root causes for demand errors & support business units to address them Key Skills:- Existing experience within a Demand Planning role, with proven examples of working with commercial teams to obtain data. Excellent IT skills especially in Excel along with good communication skills both written & verbally. You will have the ability to build good working relationships at all levels. Good attention to detail Ability to work within a fast paced environment Knowledge of freight from Far East countries would be advantageous.
