Overview
Production Operations Team Leader/Manager We are a well known and well respected Bedfordshire based manufacturer of construction materials. Due to continuing increase in the demand for our products and services, we are now looking for two Production Operations Team Leaders/Managers to join our Operations Team and support the Operations Manager. Accountable for all operational activities, The Production Operations Team Leader/Supervisors will provide Leadership and Management for their assigned team on the relevant shift (alternating earlies/lates/nights) We are looking for Production Operations Team Leaders/Managers from a Manufacturing or Production related background with strong experience of Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing and Health and Safety. In return, we offer an attractive salary of up to £41,000 plus attractive benefits. We invite applications from suitably qualified Production Operations Team Leaders/Managers with the following attributes: Prior experience of working within a Process driven environment under standards such as: HSEQ, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BBA, CE, 6001 Proven supervisory/man-management experience operating in a Production or Manufacturing based environment. Applications would be considered from candidates who deputise in this respect in the absence of the Manager and are looking to "step up" Previous experience of working to targets and deadlines. Performing well under pressure and non-pressure situations (time management) Experience of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
