LGV Driver | United Kingdom | GB11934 We have a vacancy for a 7.5 Ton Lorry Driver at RNAS, Yeovilton. Reporting to the Team Leader. YOUR ROLE Kuehne Nagel provides a production support service package and through life support for Leonardo Helicopters that consists of all standard logistics activities such as goods receipt, quality inspection, storage and picking and packing. In addition centres co-located with the end user ensure store to fitment service. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES To ensure that products are processed, handled and delivered correctly throughout the transport activity utilising MHE, manual handling and the appropriate computer systems to achieve and fulfil customer requirements efficiently, accurately and safely. Complete the daily Vehicle utilisation report and safety checks before and after the shift ensuring any issues are reported. Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal and Company requirement at all times. Adhere to QSHE directives, the Golden Rules of Safety/No Harm training and ensure working practices are carried out in line with Kuehne-Nagel Health & Safety regulations Carry out assigned tasks including: loading & unloading of vehicles, hygiene, MHE duties. Actively contribute towards continuous improvement projects and ideas. Operate to trained work instructions e.g. ABC Modules/WI/SSoW. Adhere to company standards as detailed in the Code of Conduct Policy Comply with all Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents and incidents within the workplace. Comply and contribute to the KN 5S standards within the working area. Achieve individual and team productivity performance standards. Adopt and work in accordance with KN Anchor Principles and Behaviours Follow the escalation process where there is any deviation from the standard procedure. Undertake any other duties that may be assigned To support the compliance of operational KPI's. Ensuring the right products get to the right place at the right time Ensure the correct equipment and PPE, (personal protective equipment) is in good order and used at all times. Complete annual driver CPC training YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES The applicant must be totally flexible and willing to learn Experience for Multi Drop Deliveries. Experience of working to agreed targets Understanding of warehouse practices e.g. packing, loading Must hold valid Category C1 (7.5t) vehicle driving licence. You must hold a valid Driver CPC card You must hold a valid Driver DIGI Tachograph Card. Experience of LGV Drivers hour's regulations. Ability to work individually or as part of a team Reliable and committed to attending work on time.
