Overview
Are you a committed Production and Materials Planner with experience gained in a manufacturing environment and now seeking a new challenge? If yes, this role could certainly be of interest to you. You will work closely with the Materials & Production Planning Manager to ensure that materials are purchased to enable smooth production. The company is an industry leader in their field and are looking to recruit this role due to expansion Duties Advise purchasing manager regarding variance in materials purchase Work closely with production to ensure that all materials are in stock to avoid shortages Monitor suppliers and ensure that order dates match requirements Work actively on continuous improvement plans Cover other materials duties to cover absences Skills required Proven experience of materials in a manufacturing / production environment Competent user of an ERP system Excellent communication and organisation skills Additional Details Salary to c£28000 Working with a growing company 28 days holiday - (20days holiday plus 8 bank) 5% pension Excellent working hours Keywords: ERP, Production Planning, Scheduling, Controlling, Materials, Purchasing, materials coordinator, production coordinator, material planner, planner, Cordant Group is an equal opportunities employer
