Overview
Barker Ross have a temporary ad-hoc vacancy for a 7.5t driver to carry out deliveries for their client based in Bedford who are a builders merchants. The role will be to deliver building materials out to their clients who vary from businesses, schools, building sites and members of the general publics homes. The vehicle that the deliveries will be made in will either be a 7.5t box van or a 7.5t flat bed one with drop down sides, therefore manual handling will be involved to carry out this role. Generally the role start times are 07:00 and finish approx. 17:00 but this could change. The requirements you would need for this role are; Valid in date Category 7.5t licence or above Possess a digi card and CPC Maximum 6 points on your licence No unspent criminal convictions No DD o DR on your licence. Comfortably be able to carry out manual handling work Overtime paid after 8 Hours Flexibility is key along with having very good customer service skills.
