Overview

Are you a Production Support Technician? Do you have a background in electronics manufacturing with knowledge of digital and analogue electronics? Have you got strong soldering skills? Our client based in Margate is currently looking for a Production Technician to join their team on a temporary basis. You will be working 39 hours a week, Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm and finishing early on a Friday, on an hourly rate of £10.50/hr As the Production Technician, you will be responsible for… Fault finding failed PCBAs and feeding back corrective actions to other departments Setting up testing stations for operators Calibration and Validation of customer test equipment Diagnosing and repairing and faults Using continuous improvements techniques, reduce wastes, promote sound working practices and improve operator skills Person Specification: A background in electronics manufacturing is preferred Knowledge and experience of digital and analogue electronics Ability to read circuit diagrams and diagnose faults down to component level Ability to solder and rework 'Surface Mount' and 'Through Hole' components A good understanding of mechanical and electronic assembly practices Fault reporting and continuous improvement techniques A good understanding of standard business software This is a great opportunity to work for a market leading company on a temporary to permanent basis.
