My client, a European leader in their market are seeking a multi skilled maintenance engineer to join their team based in Thetford on 4 on 4 off days & nights shift pattern. This a fantastic opportunity for a maintenance engineer to join a enthusiastic team who are passionate about investing back into their people. Job description: As a maintenance engineer, the role would include reactive and planned maintenance on packaging & agricultural machinery within a dry, factory environment. The successful candidate would ideally be mechanically biased with strong electrical knowledge. Roles and responsibilities as a maintenance engineer: - Reactive Maintenance on production, packaging & agricultural machinery. - PPMs - Sharing of technical skills & knowledge to improve overall team performance. - Continuous Improvements - Complying to the company's health and safety policy. Requirements as a maintenance engineer -UK recognised mechanical qualifications. -17th edition is preferred. -Hands on experience within a food manufacturing environment.
