Overview
A leading roof light manufacturer is looking for a Product Design Engineer to support their busy design team to develop their line of innovative products using Autodesk Inventor. They are based in Coventry and are offering a competitive basic salary, bonus scheme, pension and more. As Product Design Engineer will you be responsible for: Development of new and existing products using Autodesk Inventor. Providing technical support to internal sales teams. End-to-end project management of multiple projects from concept through to manufacture. Producing renders and animations in Keyshot for use on company website and other promotional material. Liaising with clients, taking concept briefs and managing through to installation. Work with external manufacturing partners and other suppliers. To be successful as a Product Design Engineer you will have: Proven experience as a Product Design Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Product Designer or development engineer. Qualified to degree level in either PhD, MSc, MA, MEng, BA, BEng or BSc Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Product or Innovation Engineering. Experience designing consumer goods and commercial products. Proven experience in developing plastic injection moulded components and enclosures for mass manufacture. 3D CAD (Inventor/Solidworks/Solid works). Keyshot skills for animations and renders. In return you will receive the following: Up to £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience). 23 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing with length of service). Flexible working options.
