Overview

Requirement: We are Cyber Security Technology Organisation; looking for a DV cleared (or very recently lapsed DV) Test Engineer for the following role: Ideally a permanent hire, will consider daily rate Contractor If permanent the right person will have good salary package, pension, leave package consisting of 24 days Bank Holidays Christmas shutdown, varying degrees of working from home depending on project. We have a requirement to provide testing support through the development and documentation of a testing capability for new or updates to existing applications and services on an IT system. This will include the development of multiple Requirement Traceability Matrix’ based on already existing requirements, user stories and each services/technology’s design documentation to describe the end-to-end process to carry out each user story. It will also include the development of test cases & test scenarios based on the RTMs generated, capturing the tests required to demonstrate to the user that each application/service/technology achieves their requirements and therefore can be accepted. Deliverables: Item 1) Core Validation Service which shall include the following activity/deliverables: Regular face to face planning sessions with the System Operating Authority to confirm the Acceptance Testing Requirements for individual services/applications as well as each overall capability. (2 x engagements per month). 3 days at West Midlands site (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday). Fortnightly attendance at the Test & Acceptance planning meeting with the design authority and test manager at West Midlands site (Wednesdays). Ad hoc meetings with the test manager and test team as required. (Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays) Ad hoc meetings with the requirements manager to Verify & Validate requirements (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday at West Midlands site). Attendance at the monthly design authority Design review workshop (Half day afternoon at Abbeywood , Bristol). Organise monthly contract review with Project Manager, Design Authority and Commercial lead to review progress and agree outline deliverables for next 2 months. To include delivery of between 3 and 5 ‘small’ test cases per month of no more than 3 pages of A4 each. T&S will be claimed on actuals in accordance with MoD rates.
