Overview

I'm looking for 2 additional C# and ASP.Net Full Stack software developers to join an agile and fast-paced development team. You will need to be competent in Javascript, HTML and CSS and also have good SQL database skills. You 'll be working in a small and friendly team/company. They have a great product and it's starting to take off. More clients/users are coming on-board and this is providing more work/projects. The next 18 months are mapped out and they need extra resource to deliver. The user base is probably going to double in the next 12 months. You'll be working on a cloud solution, SASS model, agile process in place. Google/Amazon web services. There's new projects in the pipe as well as overhauling and optimisation of existing systems/apps etc. Duties and responsibilities: · Developing, maintaining and supporting the companies web application and web services. · Support specification and estimation of new software projects · Testing software & mobile applications · Assisting with on-boarding new clients · Analysing and resolving technical and application problems · Contributing to the refinement of organisational processes & procedures · Tracking work tasks/sprints using Asana Key technical skills and attributes: · C# with ASP.NET in Visual Studio · HTML, CSS, Ajax, Javascript, jQuery · Excellent knowledge of SQL Server/authoring fast SQL queries/sprocs · Experience using GIT Source Control (or similar) · Strong understanding of software architecture principles Candidates should have: · Strong analysis and problem-solving skills · Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English · Awareness of secure software development and web standards · Understanding of GDPR and the security and integrity of customers’ data · Proactive approach to problem management · Willingness to research and learn new skills and technologies · Ability to work well in a team · A ‘can-do’ attitude Candidates who have specialisms/experience in any of the below will be given extra consideration: · Security – experience of developing applications which conform to security guidelines (OWASP, Cyber Essentials) · SQL Server Database Administration – optimising performance, disaster recovery etc. · Windows Server maintenance/configuration/optimisation (Powershell, DOS etc) · UI/UX design · Android/IOS development to support existing app developers Benefits: · Exciting opportunity to join a growing software company with a relaxed and friendly working environment · 37.5 Hour Week & flexible working · Company pension · Competitive Salary – negotiable depending on experience This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/88916022
