Full Stack Developer Bourne, Lincolnshire. An exciting opportunity with a sustainable manufacturing processing company has arisen for a Full stack Developer who is ready to take the next step in their career. Located in Bourne, you will join a close-knit team with a strong reputation of delivering results. Along with proficiency in developing the Microsoft stack, you will need to be resilient, a strong character & self-motivated. You will need experience of working both as part of a team & independently. As members of the team located in Europe, clear & articulate communication is needed for projects to run smoothly. With a bespoke software system currently in place, you will need to quickly adapt to existing projects & improving the software system where necessary. With sites around the country, travel will most likely be required (potentially overseas). Due to the responsibility that is attached to the position, you will ideally have experienced multiple working environments, contributed significantly to implementing changes within a software team & experience of liaising with external customers & clients. You will need to be proactive rather than reactive; if you are someone that prefers to sit behind their desk from 9-5 each day, this is most likely not the opportunity for you. This is a key hire within the company who will report direct to the leadership team. There will be potential for growth within the company for both the position & the bespoke software system that you will be working on. Technical knowledge & skills required; Overall, strong knowledge of the Microsoft stack. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming. Proficient in software technologies, including C#, MVC & .NET. Proficient in front-end technologies, including jQuery, JSON, CSS, Bootstrap and Responsive Design. Experience in SQL Server and large relational databases. Experience in using web services. Experience in web reporting technologies. Experience in using source control (ideally GIT). Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application. Some experience of system requirements gathering, and costings will also be beneficial.
