Overview
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a Senior Payroll Specialist for a well-known business in Sheffield to manage their payroll function for over 500 employees, working closely with the Financial Controller and HR team to assist during a large migration project. This is a rare and challenging opportunity that will allow a strong payroll professional to utilise their skill set within weekly and monthly payroll, providing support while transferring the function from a shared service centre in-house. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring targets and work quality is maintained in a timely manner, as well as having a hands-on approach with the day-to-day processing of Payroll. Duties & Responsibilities: -Calculate, process and reconcile payrolls for the business with the support of the payroll team -Support the payroll manager with specific tasks relating to the current payroll service and ad-hoc projects -Keep up to date with changes in payroll legislation and advise Payroll and HR team of changes which may have an impact on colleagues -Efficient in data management, from inputting, importing, exporting and reconciling to ensure exact replica of periodic pay and static data of their software Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently looking for individuals with the following skills and experiences: - Ability to travel to two of their sites in Sheffield and Derbyshire - Driving License required -Minimum of 2 years' experience within a senior payroll position -Strong communication skills (essential) -Good IT skills/knowledge (Excel) If you meet the criteria for this role and are interested in being put forward, please do not hesitate to apply or contact Abbie Goodison to discuss.
