The ideal candidate will be competent and diligent across all areas of building maintenance and improvement projects on our prestigious Holiday Parks. This will be a customer facing role where working in occupied holiday homes and in our buildings requires a professional and courteous service always. The successful applicant will be able to carry out all aspects of maintenance, improvement works to our buildings, grounds and facilities at Finlake Duties will be providing our in-house repair service to our holiday home owners for repairs and improvement works where the ability to work to a very high standard with good attention to detail is required. You will also be required to support our grounds team and assist with our events calendar throughout the season so there will be a requirement to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. What are the responsibilities? This role is ideally suited to an experienced multi skilled tradesperson / handy person with a good hands-on knowledge and experience of the following key areas All aspects of 1st & 2nd fix Joinery, i.e. Installation and repairs to beach steps, timber decking, installation of doors, fitted kitchen modifications, construction repairs to timber shelters and buildings, fencing & gate replacement. Replacement floors to holiday homes, timber partitions, and fascia and soffit replacement. Adjustment and repairs to UPVC window and door mechanisms Block paving and groundwork repairs. Patch plastering of walls and ceilings. Basic plumbing and tiling repairs in all our facilities and owners holiday homes. There will also be a requirement to support our plumbing and connections team where required. Minor construction work to include brick work, concreting and repairs to brick and stone walls. Know-how to comply with Health & Safety regulations and correct business standards The ability to complete written reports on work task sheets. Computer literate to follow work procedures, obtain quotes for materials and produce labour and material quotations on a regular basis.
