Overview
Badenoch Clark's NHS Client in Greater Manchester requires an Information Governance Consultant for an initial six month contract. The contract is to start ASAP and rates are negotiable dependent on skills and experience, but are likely to fall between £275 - £350 per day (OUTSIDE of IR35). The main requirement for the role on offers focuses on the engagement and consultation of a group of clinicians in order to promote increased access to and data sharing from a number of clinical systems. As can often be the case, the access to clinical systems and patient data by other NHS organisations needs to be carefully considered and justified. Your role will be to meet with clinicians to explain the information policies and processes that exist to ensure that, if they were to allow access to their systems, that this data would be treated securely and confidentially to the highest of information governance standards. The end goal will be to secure enough confidence in these practices that senior clinicians can comfortably and confidently allow increased data sharing between their own systems and wider NHS organisations. In order to be considered, candidates must firstly have a strong and up-to-date understanding of NHS Information Governance and Data Security policies and processes. You must also be comfortable being the face of the Information Department and heading out in to services to consultant and engage clinicians directly, offering your expertise and guidance to help shape their views and opinions on effective and secure information sharing.
