Integrated Support Engineer / Technical Author Yeovil GP Strategies are seeking experienced Integrated Support Engineers / Technical Authors to work alongside our global aerospace client based in Yeovil. A background in the aerospace industry in a similar role is essential to be successful for this role. This positions duties include: The production of writing and amending technical manuals and documents relating to military aircraft. Assisting with the production of customer instructions to support the aircraft. The assessment, analysis and development of operational, engineering, maintenance and provisioning data. The production of modification leaflets and service bulletins, provision of technical publications data from a variety of sources. Compilation of technical data into both hard and soft copy. To be successful for this role, you will need: Knowledge within the aerospace industry is essential. Experience of military aircraft such as Lynx, EH101/Merlin, AW159 is highly desirable. To have either worked within a technical publication area previously or will have amended or written technical documents or manuals. Experience of using technical publications or experience of writing and amending manuals or documentation associated with the aerospace industry is essential. Knowledge of AECMA Simplified English is essential. Experience in one or more of the following areas - Airframes, engines, hydraulics and transmission. Have excellent written and spoken communication skills plus the ability to make sound technical assessments and judgments based on knowledge and experience. Self-motivated and must be able to work as part of an integrated team.
