Topographical Surveyor - RailRef: VR/35633/JMAbout the Role: A leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy based in York are looking to recruit an experienced Topographical Rail Surveyor to support Senior Topographical Surveyors on a various rail and non-rail projects.You will be responsible for carrying out topographical surveys using Trimble and Leica surveying equipment according to Network Rail Standards. Additionally, you will also carry out laser scanning and structure gauging, traversing, levelling, as well as assisting in the installation of control networks. Furthermore, you will often act as lead surveyor for site surveyors. As such, you will be responsible for organising resources and equipment. Additionally, you will also mentor Junior members of the Surveying team.This role will be based at the consultancys York office. However, a lot of your time will be spent on site, therefore, it is essential that you are able to drive for this role.
