Overview
Manpower are currently working with internationally recognised company who recently opened their new distribution centre in Keele that sends over 120,000 units a year to their customers. Having recently moved their Distribution Centre into Stoke-on-Trent. They are looking for a driven and highly organised Distribution operative to be involved in their remote distribution centre in Stoke-on-Trent. They are looking for people who share their vision, are hard working and committed so that you can continue to sustain their throughput as they scale across the country. Duties The successful Distribution Operatives will work Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30 and may include, in time, some weekend work that will be paid at a premium pay rate. To be responsible for fulfilling orders made via company website, assembling, distributing and posting them to customers. Computer illiterate to identify new orders using own initiative, including recording when items have been dispatched. Using pre-filled, colour coded information to label items correctly. Working directly with Logistics & Distribution Manager to identify improvements to the process that may enhance proficiency. Skills & Competencies Willingness to work collaboratively in a closely integrated team set up. Experience of working in a fast paced environment. Trustworthy, discretion, and highly understand of customer confidentiality.
