Overview
Brand new Accounts position based in Lancaster Up to £24,000 (DOE) Your new firm Your new practice is an established firm of Chartered Accountants with offices in Lancaster. This firm's client base now covers the length of England and provides a wide range of accountancy, auditing, taxation and consultancy services. This is an excellent opportunity for you to continue to excel with your career in accounting. Your new role Your new role as a practice accountant will be to assist with the firms client accounting requirements. This will include year-end accounts preparation to review stage, tax computations, VAT returns, client bookkeeping and collating monthly sales invoices. You will also be responsible for liaising with HMRC and companies house in regards to personal and corporation tax returns and the preparation of year end statements. What you'll need to succeed In order to be a successful applicant for this role you will have previous experience of working within practice and have been in an accounts role previously. It would be beneficial to be competent on SAGE and be experienced in tax computations and corporation tax returns however these would not be deal breakers. Knowledge of making tax digital and cloud based software's would also be beneficial.
