Overview
Job Advert You will support the Resource Centre Manager in the effective running and development of residential, Short Break, Day Care and Reablement Services for older individuals. You will have proven management skills and have the ability to provide effective leadership, supervision and development opportunities to a wide staff group. You will have knowledge and experience of working jointly with other professionals to ensure a high standard of care for all individuals accessing the service. As an enthusiastic and flexible individual you will be skilled in assessment of individual needs and in planning necessary support with a person centred approach as the primary focus. You must hold a minimum qualification to SVQ Level 3 in social care. SVQ level 4 with Registered Managers Award or Diploma in Social Work or, Nursing or Occupational Therapy would be desirable. You must be registered with the SSSC or equivalent regulatory body. The post includes working 37 hours per week. Working five days a week, including weekends, on a shifts basis. If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership
