Overview
Occupational Health Advisor – East Sussex – F/T - £38k OH317 We are working with a large OH Provider to source an Occupational Health Advisor to be based at client sites in Brighton, Haywards Heath, and Tunbridge Wells. The role breakdown is 5% Health Surveillance, 50% Case Management, 25% vaccinations/venepuncture clinics, 10% Pre-placement health questionnaires, and 10% Needle Stick Injuries. Main duties of the role include: Evidence based case management services for referrals relating to attendance, fitness for work and other requests for OH advice. Provide professional, comprehensive and evidence based written reports. Evaluate the results of medicals and surveillance provided. Provide OH services where required such as vaccinations, travel health services, ergonomic advice, or health promotion. Provide clinical supervision and support other team members where relevant (such as OH Technicians). Requirements of the role: Registration with NMC Part 1 Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree/Diploma IT literacy and competence Case Management and provision of OH advice General medicals and health surveillance You should be proficient in the provision of: Spirometry Audiometry General Medicals Drug and Alcohol screening Case Management Fitness for role assessment This is a full-time role, working 5 days (37.5 hours) per week between the hours of 9.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday. You must be happy with an element of travel within this role and you must have a full driving licence and car to apply.
