Climb Recruitment are working with a leading company is the Bredbury area Role: Continuous Improvement Systems Engineer Role Requirements A talented Systems Engineer with drive to identify opportunities and the necessary skills to improve our existing ERP system and related wider ways of working. The overall aim will be to reduce manual transactions, digitize information flow together with developing the systems to measure and facilitate analysis of business performance data Duties and Responsibilities Development of systems and processes to make the production process as efficient as possible Identify methods of improving the productivity of existing systems, taking into consideration the use of the latest technology Work with departmental heads and managers to develop the existing system and ways of working in areas such as: Sales & Commercial Quality Procurement Manufacturing Assembly & Test Lead and manage projects relating to the implementation of processes, system improvements and enhancements Provide technical direction and assistance to operational departmental staff Continuous monitoring and improvement of systems and processes to meet the evolving needs of the business Maintain and troubleshoot the existing business system infrastructure to support the needs of all departments Excellent communication and presentation skills Comfortable and confident in project proposals at all levels within the organization and to the customer Ability to coach, influence and bring along others to achieve success together Strong Project Management ability Excellent inter personal skills Accountabilities and Performance Measures Delivery of projects on time, in full and meeting all internal & external customer needs Ensuring all stakeholders are continuously updated with regard to project status Delivering quantifiable improvements within the end to end business process Reporting directly to the Plant Director Qualifications Degree standard preferred in a business relevant field such as: Computer aided or computer systems Engineering Mechanical and/or Manufacturing Engineering Production and Manufacturing Engineering. Demonstrable track record of project delivery in demanding and technically challenging environments, preferably in Engineering / Manufacturing organisations Engineering background with a good all round knowledge of manufacturing processes would be a distinct advantage Thorough understanding of Business ERP/MRP software systems This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89809479
