DevOps Engineer- Leading Energy Company An exciting opportunity exists for a Cloud DevOps Engineer at a Leading Energy Company. Our client is currently undergoing their biggest transformation to date within their Enterprise IT function - specifically focusing on the adoption of AWS and Azure cloud. Location : Gloucester Salary : Open to negotiations Job Type: Permanent Your Role: As the Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be required to lead the creation and enhancement of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) automation across multiple platforms to enable and ensure the quality, reliability, stability and security of systems, processes and services utilising DevOps practices to enable CI/CD. Key Responsibilities: Develop automation to ensure security across a geographically dispersed hosting environment(s), identifying opportunities to further automate within the development, test and production environment(s). Creation and enhancement of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) automation across multiple platforms; own associated tooling; work with stakeholders and Business Units to understand CI/CD requirements to construct the roadmap and inform the strategy. Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics which help to drive the adoption and performance of CI/CD processes and capabilities Engagement with software developers and infrastructure engineers to integrate software development and delivery from inception to full operation, ensuring robust released software and systems Key Requirements: Experience of DevOps principles & practices; Experience of tool chains eg GitHub, Jenkins and Chef; Certified DevOps Institute DevOps Foundation or equivalent; MUST HAVE thorough experience working on both Azure and AWS platforms Experience of partnership working This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89811124
