Site/Setting Out Engineer Civils/ Roads and Sewers Projects Castle Donnington Start Available Immediately Salary and Benefits can be tailored to applicant Our client are a well-established Civil Engineering firm with offices nationwide and over 30 years’ experience of working in the Water, Power and Civils Sector. They are looking for a Site/Setting Out Engineer with experience in the residential groundworks or Utilities industries with the ability to take responsibility for their own work and use their initiative to ensure their work is completed in an accurate and timely manner. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in an industry related subject and have 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role within the utilities or residential groundworks sector. The ability to use GPS and CAD is a massive advantage and will stand any applicant in good stead if they can demonstrate a background in utilising this technology. Ideally applicants will also hold a SSSTS ticket. If successful in your application, the main responsibility of the role will be ensuring that the setting out is accurate, providing precise lines, levels and reference points on site, however it will be advantageous if you are able to Read, interpretate and provide clear communication of construction drawings on site for layouts, material measurements etc. As well as this, the client will be looking for you to develop relationships with key stakeholders on site, including clients, sub-contractors and colleagues, which will allow you to have a positive impact on site and help the project to progress effectively.
