AWS DevOps Engineer/Senior AWS DevOps Engineer – AWS, DevOps, Lambda, Python, Cloudformation, Terraform, Powershell – global consultancy - London and UK Wide - Between £50K-£85K plus BONUS and BENS (Including Flexible working, WFH or remote working, Healthcare & Dental, Pension contribution, free food and drinks, shares) My client are a leading global consultancy who are looking to grow their cloud practice currently with some AWS DevOps Engineer’s due to expansion in the business and taking on new clients. They engage in a wide variety of projects for customers, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base and are obsessed about strong success for the customer. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs. The AWS DevOps Engineer will be responsible for: Develop and design client solutions. Suggesting improvements and changes to increase value. Use your automation, scripting and coding skills to deliver solutions that clearly move the dial forward for the client. Participate in re-engineering of existing client applications to ensure they leverage additional benefits provided through the AWS Cloud. Document & capture designs suitable for re-use by others. Deliver infrastructure as code following AWS best practice. Engineer and develop scripts, code and configurations that meet the requirements of the project scope and design of the Solution Architect. Understand low-level tools, techniques, software, programming languages and third party tools/libraries that are applicable to the success of the final solution. The AWS DevOps Engineer will have the following experience: Strong knowledge of AWS and AWS Services. Proven track record as an AWS Engineer / AWS DevOps Engineer experience in a customer environment including experience in the enterprise environment. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Use of Lambda. Experience in scripting languages – e.g. Python, Power shell, Bash, Node.JS, Cloudformation, Terraform, JSON, YAML, AWS CLI & API. Systems Administration experience in any Operating Systems (Windows / Linux). Understanding of network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, DHCP, TCP/IP, subnetting etc.). Ability to use and fault find authentication and authorisation; AWS roles, policies, secrets, STS, signing, interaction with directory services and approaches such as OAuth2, SAML etc. Knowledge of Active Directory. Experience with monitoring and dashboard solutions (Splunk, ELK Stack, etc.), use of Cloudwatch, Cloudtrails.
